IFPCP offers the expungement of criminal records.  If a person qualifies for expungement, we can assist in having the record removed.  This means that the record will be expunged from the Criminal Record Centre and resulting in a clear name when criminal record searches are done.A solid foundation has been built for team leaders and tactical medical assistants to be successful in managing casualties in a contact situation.  An integrated team response from non-medical personnel and tactical medical assistants must be in place to care for the wounded C.P.O/P.S.D  member/clients the tactical medical assistant and team leader.  In essence all C.P.O/P.S.D  members must unite to provide medical care collectively as a team without sacrificing the flow and violence of the battle at hand.An integrated team approach to casualty response and care will directly translate to the reduction of the death wounds rate of combat casualties and minimize the turbulence associated with these events in times of crisis.  The true success of the tactical medic will be defined by his/her ability to complete the mission and greatly reduce preventable contact deaths.  Tactical medical assistance value honor and  reputation more than their lives, and as such will attempt to lay down their own lives in defense of their comrades or clients.
The criteria for expungement are as follow:

  1.  The conviction must be older than 10 years.
  2. The offence must have been of a minor offence or a politically motivated crime.
  3. The applicant must have either paid a fine (fine paid must not exceed R20 000.00),   received a suspended sentence or have been sentenced to community service.
  4. The conviction must not have resulted in mandatory jail time (this does not include time spent following initial arrest and time spent awaiting trial).
